Description: 

The work to be undertaken generally includes the following:
1. Remove the existing heat pump system, including all indoor units located within the
lab space and the outdoor condensing unit located in the mechanical room, complete
with all associated refrigerant piping, condensate piping, controls, and thermostats. The
Contractor to follow the phasing plan indicated on the mechanical drawings.
2. Provide and install a new heat pump system as specified on the mechanical and
electrical drawings, including all associated piping, controls, wiring, and accessories
required for a complete and operational installation.
3. Rebalance the air distribution system within the lab area to account for the existing
and new supply diffusers. Adjust and verify airflow quantities to ensure the system
operates in accordance with the design intent and specified ventilation requirements.
4. Control Integration, Integrate the new heat pump system into the existing DDC system
for monitoring and control.
