Northern Health Authority (NHA, Owner) is requesting tenders from qualified
contractors for the replacement of major electrical equipment in Electrical Rooms
1 and 6, and the subsequent removal of medium voltage equipment from those
areas.

It is the intent of NHA to engage with the successful Tenderer that provides the
best value to NHA for provision of all required services, equipment, labour, and
materials for complete project including all required subtrades. This will include
performing detailed site assessments, shutdown planning, Equipment
Replacement, Construction, Demolition and all work as outlined in this document
and accompanying attachments. As noted, the owner is not obligated to accept the
lowest, or any bid. To assist with a determination of value, Contractors are
encouraged to include any relevant information which will be useful to NHA in its
review of submissions. This may include information such as proposed materials,
detailed descriptions of the extent of the proposed work, timing of the work,
allowances including proposed responsibilities of NHA, costs, and work or other
expenses not included. The foregoing represents a partial list, and the Contractor
may include any information that they deem worthwhile.

The Contractor shall ensure that the finished project meets all applicable code
requirements, as well as the requirements outlined within this package, and on the
attached documents.
